About Dr. Mahender Khatravath

Dr. Mahender Khatravath received his BSc and M.Sc. in Organic chemistry from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India, and Ph.D. from the University of Hyderabad (Dr. Reddy's Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS), an associate institute of the University of Hyderabad) under the supervision of professor Prabhat Arya in 2016. Subsequently, he has been a post-doctoral fellow with Dr. D. Srinivasa Reddy (Current Director, CSIR-IICT), at CSIR-NCL-Pune (1.5 years) and with Dr. Ch. Raji Reddy (CSIR-IICT, Hyderabad) with a short time stay with 7 months. Then, in 2018 he joined in Transcell Oncologics Pvt. Ltd, as a research scientist where he was actively involved in the medicinal chemistry programme to invent new leads for the undruggable targets (K-RAS, C-myc, and Wnt). He took up a Assistant Professor position at the Deportment Chemistry, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, India in 2019. His current research interests are synthesis of bio-active natural products, design, and development of new synthetic methodologies.

Rohit Kumar Maurya completed B.sc Hons in chemistry from Magadh University and M.sc in chemistry from Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) with specialization in organic chemistry. He joined in Dr. KM Group at CUSB in 2019.

Mr. Ashutosh Dey
Research Scholar
Ashutosh Dey was born in 1999 in Balasore, Odisha, India. He received his Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree from Fakir Mohan University, India in 2019. He completed his master’s degree in chemistry with specialization of organic chemistry from Central University of South Bihar, India in 2021. Then he worked as a project fellow under the guidance of Dr Kishor Padala at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore (December 2021–December2022). He joined in Dr. KM group in 2023. Currently, he is working as project staff as well as PhD scholar in Central University of South Bihar, under the supervision of Dr Mahender Khatravath.
